Problem Statement

Plugin Marketplace is the place where users find all plugins that can be used to enhance the websites and applications made with Strapi. After some Research sessions the team has found some patterns in regards specific pain points that will be addressed in a Marketplace redesign process.

Using those patterns from the sessions I’ve created the User Persona:

So the improvements I want to tackle within the Marketplace redesign are:

• Ability to search and filter.
• Better differentiation between installed and uninstalled plugins.
• Better identification of plugins types (Tech, design, SEO…).
• Better differentiation between official and community plugins.
• Ability to check plugin rating score and read potential comments.
